We love vacations

CALI TRIP!!!!!!!!!!!

This was one of the best vacations to Cali we have had yet!! It was so great to hang with the family, and visit the sites of San Diego!!

Friday was a really long day... Josh had to work so we didn't leave until around 2 or 3.  We got in around 8 and the kids were so excited to see all their cousins!  Carla and the little Verdoni's were already there... so we got to hang out with everyone when we got there!  Julie had an awesome dinner waiting for us, and we just got to chat and hang out!

Saturday  was a totally busy and crazy day.... but so AWESOME!!! Almost all of the family met up at Sea Port in San Diego.  We started the day off with a yummy lunch.  Then walked around all the shops and got some cool new stuff! After everyone was done shopping we took a bike carriage down to the harbor cruise.  It was so fun!! The harbor cruise was awesome, all the kids did great and no one got sick!! It was a beautiful day, perfect for a cruise around the harbor!!  We took the bike carriage back to Sea Port, got some ice cream and yummy carmel apples and then our family headed to the hotel to check in! The hotel was beautiful!!!! It was on of the tallest building downtown!!! We were on the 10th floor, and the view was AMAZING!! Josh and I were so beat after the day so we order a movie for the kids and took a little cat nap!! After a little nap we headed back down to Sea Port and got the best most yummiest pizza ever! The boys got to go on the carousel ride! And when we got back to the hotel they were playing a movie next to the pool on a big screen.... and then after the movie there was an awesome firework show!! By that time it was past 10 and the kids passed out as soon as their little heads hit their pillows!

Sunday was a nice lazy day, compared to the day before! We all slept in until almost 10!! It was awesome! Then we went and got some breakfast... and Josh took us all to this super cool place where the airplanes fly right over your head when they land at the airport! The boys LOVED it and I thought it was pretty dang cool too! Then we headed to the beach to just relax and have some great fun! It was pretty busy.... but the boys had the best time ever!! They played and played in the water and then made a pretty cool sand castle... or I guess it is more like a mud castle! After the beach we were all tired and ready to go relax, so we headed back to Joe and Julies and just spent the rest of the day relaxing and having a fun time! Julie bought everyone a shirt and some puffy paint and that night everyone made a shirt and had the best time ever! Thanks Julie!

Monday it was time to wrap up the vacation and head home.... we had such a fun time and wish it never had to end!! Thanks to all of our family!! We love you guys and can't wait to see everyone again!!!
