Happy Early Mother's Day to me.... just spent the last 4 hours at urgent care with my wonderful son Austin!!! Poor guy has strep throat on top of everything else he went through in the last few days.... well no church for us tomorrow... It's going to be a mellow Mother's Day that's for sure!!! I am just happy my hubby will not be at work and I will get to spend a little time with him!! So to all the mother's out there that are just as happy spending their mother's day in the ER with their kids as they would be being treated like a queen, here is a little poem for you to enjoy!!
Real Mothers don't eat quiche; they don't have time to make it.
Real Mothers know that their kitchen utensils are probably in the sandbox.
Real Mothers often have sticky floors, filthy ovens and happy kids.
Real Mothers know that dried play dough doesn't come out of shag carpets.
Real Mothers don't want to know what the vacuum just sucked up.
Real Mothers sometimes ask 'Why me?' and get their answer when a voice says, 'Because I love you best.'
Real Mothers know that a child's growth is not measured by height or years or grade...It is marked by the progression of Mama to Mom to Mother...
